Traffic is backing up on Hewletts Road this morning following a two car crash near the Bridge Marina.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says two cars have crashed blocking the northbound lane heading towards Tauranga.

'Traffic is backing up quite a bit next to the Ballance Agri-Nutrients plant,” they said.
Motorists are being warned to expect delays until the crash has been cleared.
The cause of the crash is unclear at this stage, as is the level of injury involved.

need a shake up, some better phasing could reduce this. but the only way to change it is to change the traffic monitors
