International acts head for Tauranga

A host of international reggae acts will headline the One Love Festival in Tauranga next year. The Waitangi weekend event will take place at Wharepai Domain.

Organisers have promised the two-day extravaganza is set to boast a line-up that will satisfy all lovers of roots, reggae and Aotearoa music.

The line-up includes J Boog, Common Kings, Third World, Steel Pulse, Collie Buddz, Fiji, Katchafire, Kora, House of Shem, Ardijah, Nesian Mystick, Sons of Zion, Sammy Johnson, Tomorrow People, 1814, Che Fu, Swiss , Three Houses Down and Herbs.

More acts are yet to be announced.

'PATO Entertainment is proud to welcome the return of the festival,” says director Pato Alverez, 'and has worked tirelessly to present a line-up that will satisfy the thousands that have registered at the official Festival website.

'After a huge success in 2015, One Love Festival is coming back bigger and better. The feedback from 2015 was amazing.

'The venue was perfect and next year's looks like it will be a sell-out event.”

Tickets for the festival go on sale on August 19 at www.onelovefestival.co.nz

People who get their tickets on August 19 will receive a discounted ticket and a free One Love t-shirt.
