I wonder why the car registration number is obscured, but the Company name on the Truck isn't .

Perhaps the car driver mistakenly thought ALL trucks would be on the Eastern Link? Very fortunate the impact speed was low!

The truck was on State Highway 2 so the car most likely attempted to get around the round about before the truck but did not make it.

People for their own sake need to give heavy vehicles a bit more space. How can you not see a huge truck?

Headline should be

"Moronic Car Driver Pulls Out In Front Of Truck" They're lucky it was a low speed impact, in most situations like this there's not much left of the car, let alone the driver.

Yes, just another, 'Oh I didn't see your there'. As in most situations, I have to agree. However, We can only assume this was the case. glad no one was hurt & this was a slow impace. Who in their right mind would pull out in front of a large vehicle.

Drivers door

The truck smashed straight into the drivers door so the driver is a very lucky person. Why are car drivers so inpatient? Many a time when pulling up to the red lights loaded i have take ages to brake and slowly pull up to the red lights. The car behind gets so impatient they overtake so they can charge ul to the red lights to sit and wait in queue?? Dos that make sense to anyone. I try and keep rolling slowly up to the lights so if they change i dont have to stop and go thru 5 or six gear changes.
