Waitemata Police are seeking the public's assistance to help locate a 21-year-old man who they believe can assist them with their enquiries into three alleged armed robberies on the North Shore.

Just after 6.30pm on Saturday, police say a dairy on East Coast Rd was robbed at knife point by a man.

Police say the same offender is a suspect for two earlier alleged robberies at liquor stores carried out in the last week.

Police would like to speak with David Cerven, who is a Slovakian national who entered New Zealand in March this year.
