School holidays are upon us but for a number of young Bay of Plenty rugby players there is no slowing down.
Next week, eight Bay players will take part in the Chiefs U18 camp at St Paul's Collegiate in Hamilton, from July 7 to 11.

Tauranga Boys' College is the most represented with four followed by Te Wharekura O Mauao's two.
Rotorua Boys' High School's Jone Lasaginibau and Valen Keil were ruled out due to injury. Some players from Rotorua Boys High School, that would have been selected, were unavailable due to a school tour.
These players have been selected based on their consistency and current form they have displayed playing for their respective school teams. Selectors from across the Chiefs region have viewed matches and cross-referenced with other provincial unions to select a squad.
After four rounds of the 2015 Super Eight 1st XV, Rotorua Boys' High School sit second on 13 points with a three win one loss record. Their sole loss coming at the hands of Hamilton Boys' High School in round three, 27-5.
Hamilton, the annual benchmark side, sit atop the standings as the only undefeated side.
At the other end of the ladder Tauranga Boys' College sit in seventh with a solitary win. Last week they lost to bottom placed side Palmerston North Boys High School 33-43.
The Bay of Plenty Rugby Union is also running Under 16 and Under 18 Development camps next Monday and Tuesday.
The first day, to be held at ASB Baypark, will comprise of skill development, position specific coaching, physical testing and some education around player pathways.
The second day will consist of trial matches, to be held at Te Puke Sports' home ground of Murray Salt Stadium.
This is a new initiative and the rugby union's player development manager Kyle McLean is excited about the upcoming camps.
'These camps have been set up to provide an opportunity for our local talent to further development both on and off the field.
'We have invited a number of coaches in to assist with the camp and offer their expertise to our players.”
He believes the camps will offer a great opportunity for representative coaches to view the vast majority of players to aid with their selection.
The rugby union has also invited a large number of selectors to help support the coaches with selection and also provide feedback for the players.
'We have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Bay of Plenty community so the players will have a perfect opportunity to tap into that knowledge and take away some great feedback to enhance their game.”
