What’s on Today? Music

It's not every day you get to hear a 17-year-old play the cello.

But today is just that day for people who want to head along and see Dominic Lee play at the Tauranga Art Gallery at 4.30pm.

Dominic Lee will be performing at the Tauranga Art Gallery this afternoon.

Dominic has recently been offered to study at the Eastman School of Music with a performance scholarship in the USA, where he is planning to start studying later this year.

He will also perform at the Carnegie Hall in New York, USA this year and at the Great Mountains Music Festival in South Korea.

Dominic is a talented cellist, who has won several music competitions including the Viotti Valsesia International Music Competition in Italy and the Seoul National Music Competition in South Korea. Read more about Dominic here.

Tickets can be purchased from the Gallery, or call (07) 578 7933.
