Bay of Plenty Police have launched an investigation into a person's death after a body was found in a stream this morning.
The body was found in Fordlands, Rotorua, at around 11.30am.

Residents in the area believe the body was found by people who were going trout fishing.
Bay of Plenty Police communications manager Kim Perks says the area - a walkway backing onto residential properties on Ruth Street - has been cordoned off and an investigation is underway.
'The circumstances of the death are unknown at this stage,” explains Kim.
