Cell death investigated

A Police investigation is underway after a man was found dead in the Manukau Police Station Custody Unit this morning.

Police are working to notify the man's next of kin before more information is available. Preliminary inquries indicate there are no suspicious circumstances to the death and the Coroner has been advised.
