After the weekend's downpour, it could be a windy one out there today with gale-force winds forecast to hit Tauranga.
Metservice's severe weather watch, issued yesterday, remains in place for the Western Bay of Plenty for Monday with strong south-west gales predicted.

Tauranga's forecast is for a few morning showers, while strong south-westerlies and gusts of up to 90km/h could linger throughout the day.
The high is 14 degrees and a low of eight degrees overnight.
It is currently gusting at 12 knots in Tauranga Harbour and 20 knots out at A-Beacon.
