A series of suspicious fires in Papamoa which have caused millions of dollars' worth of damage will feature on crime show Police Ten-7 this evening.
A bridge being built as part of the TEL project and a portaloo in Monticello Key were among the targets of fire bug or bugs in the area.

Bay of Plenty Police are also turning to the show in the hope of identifying the person responsible for an attack on a woman in Rotorua earlier this month.
The attack, which is believed to have been sexually motivated, happened around 6.40pm on Saturday, May 2, on Wharenui Road, between Te Ngae Road and Reeve Road.
Police say the woman was pushed to the ground and knocked unconscious.
'When she came to, she managed to fight back, causing the attacker to run off along Te Ngae Road.”
