If you think good Sauvignon Blanc only comes from the Marlborough region, then you need to try the Trinity Hill 2010 Sauvignon Blanc from Hawke’s Bay – it wasn’t rated in the top five by Australasia’s Wine State Magazine for nothing.

The 2010 season was superb for Sauvignon Blanc in the Hawke’s Bay – with a mild summer being followed by a dry and warm autumn. The cooler temperatures suit retention of aromatic characters and acidity.

The lovely flavours and aromas of citrus, passion fruit and nectarine, compliment the distinct aroma of gooseberries. The mineral character lends a Sancerre-like character to the wine, fresh acid, balanced by a tiny amount of retained sweetness.
