Operatunity is bringing music lovers the world’s most romantic music with the award-winning touring group’s latest show ‘I’m in Love with Vienna’, playing in Tauranga on September 24.
The concert, at Holy Trinity Church at 11am, features soprano Susan Boland, tenor John Cameron, world famous in New Zealand tenor Benjamin Fifita Makisi, baritone Orene Tiai, and pianist Alex Wiltshire.
Joining this star-studded cast is a new addition to Operatunity, violinist Jessica Hindin.
Company director and singer Susan Boland says this show will feature pieces such as Vienna City Of My Dreams, Champagne Trio, And I’m In Love With Vienna from ‘The Great Waltz’.
“We will present songs from Vienna and surrounds which inspired some of the world’s most popular, beautiful and romantic melodies, by such composers as Strauss and Lehar,” says Susan.
