Growers seeking a recipe for all those wonderful crops in the garden may find something different in the New Zealand Tree Crops Association’s Recipe Book.

Beyond Apple Pie, savouring your seasonal fruit, contains recipes for many of the crops typically grown by tree croppers. These include almond, feijoa, fig, hazelnut, olive, pecan, citrus and blueberry.

The chapters of the book are divided into these crops; there is information on the crops botany and cultivation features and the uses of the crops as well as the recipes which the crop is listed as an ingredient.
Beyond Apple Pie has evolved with new recipes have been added to the book since new crops have been introduced to New Zealand.   
The book costs $20 per copy plus a $2 postage and packing fee.
