I have a new addiction! Grove’s chilli oil, produced right here in Tauranga from locally grown naturally ripened avocados. I am finding ways to have it for breakfast (not recommended on cereal), lunch and dinner.

Grove avocado oil infused with chilli adds that extra bite to your meals, creating exciting new flavour combinations.

As well as using it for cooking in, I am drizzling it over most things, from avocado on toast, on prawns, and salads – the list is endless.

The oil has an exceptionally high smoke point, making it great for cooking. It also is higher in healthy monounsaturated fats (proven to lower harmful blood cholesterol levels), than most other culinary oils, and is a natural source of bio-available vitamins A, E and D.

The range also included lime, garlic and horopito infused flavours. It is great buying at around $10.50, and is available from most supermarkets.
