Fran is a retired 79 year-old superannuitant who has saved jokes and humorous stories over the years as a hobby. The 220-page, wire bound book is a compilation of fun stories, words of wisdom and other bits and pieces Fran has collected over the years. It has a laminated cover and good size print, which she says is a perfect gift for under the Christmas tree.

“It is great holiday ‘pick up and put down’ reading that provides loads of laughs and smiles at the memories within, particularly for seniors,” says Fran.

“The idea for books such as this occurred to me about 50 years back. As a sufferer from depression, someone gifted to me a book of humour, which I have passed on many times. Laughter is a necessity, especially in difficult times and just to be able to read something humorous can bring smiles.”
