SunLive - The Bay's news first

SunLive Competition

The fabulous music and fun of the 60s and 70s will
be on show when the award-winning Daytime Concert
Series, presented by Operatunity, graces Holy Trinity
Church from 11am on August 17.

Tom Sharplin and his band are joined by Operatunity
director Geoffery Hughes and Tamsyn Miller for the
trip down memory lane – think The Beatles, Sonny and
Cher, Ray Charles and Johnny Cash and you get the
feel.

Tom, New Zealand’s king of rock ‘n’ roll, has won
many awards including NZ Variety’s Benny and NEOA
Group of the Year Award.

He has had Top 40 chart successes including number one hit ‘Love is a Beautiful Song’ and ‘We’ll Sing in the Sunshine’.

Tamsyn has opened for Eric Clapton, Tom Jones and
Jimmy Barnes, has sung backing vocals for George
Benson and has had leading roles in many shows.

Geoffery is a co-founder of Operatunity and is wellknown
on the concert platform.

Tickets, including lunch, cost $30, with discounts
for groups available.

To book tickets or request a free brochure, phone 0508 266 237 or visit www.operatunity.co.nz

The Weekend Sun has two double passes to the
concert to give away to lucky Weekend Sun readers who can tell us which artists Tamsyn Miller has opened for.

Entries must be received before August 14.
