Operatunity is gearing up for its final 2010 national tour, presenting the hilarious Christmas pantomime, Jack and the Bean Sprout, at Tauranga’s Holy Trinity Church on Friday, November 19.

The award-winning group has produced its own version of this much-loved fairy tale with sets, costumes, some dramatic moments, and the story receiving a special take on Jack and his exploits.

Script writer Geoffrey Hughes warns audiences to be prepared for anything as it just might happen.

“We have been told to issue a public health warning about this concert,” says Geoffrey.

“So here it is: Warning; content may cause uncontrollable fits of laughter.”

As well as enjoying hilarious skits, audiences can celebrate in Operatunity-style singing along to all the best Christmas songs and other well-known melodies, with a twist.

Tickets cost $27 and include lunch with the artists. Group and concession discounts available for the 11am concert.
