J. Edgar (M) contains violence and offensive language

Clint Eastwood directs Leonardo DiCaprio as J. Edgar Hoover, the face of law enforcement in America for almost 50 years.

Hoover was instrumental in founding the FBI in 1935, where he remained director until his death in 1972. Behind closed doors, however, he held secrets that would have destroyed his career. The screenplay is written by Dustin Lance Black (Milk).
