Tauranga-based dance company Inzpire is showcasing its brand new show to start 2012, taking the show as far afield as Auckland.
Canvas is described as a “multifaceted show, and has something for people of all ages”.
The show combines multimedia and art to paint the company’s picture, as they take the audience on a journey of every emotion and phase of what makes up our lives.
The show has a varied soundtrack and also features live accompaniment to some of the pieces, adding even more depth to the already moving show.
Special guest dance acts finish off the production, ensuring a mix of dance styles and showcase several up and coming talented New Zealand choreographers.
From fun and frivolity, to dealing with some of life’s greatest hardships and gritty issues, Canvas has it all.
Inzpire is comprised of up to 20 dancers, all aged primarily under 18, and is run by Mila Barach who has been teaching dance for more than 10 years. The fully self-funded company is designed to give young dancers a professional dance company to keep their skills and talents in the Bay of Plenty.
