I found this to be a really versatile product; ideal with crackers, but as the jar is quite large, there was enough left over to stir through pasta the next night. It is a delicious blend of roasted red peppers and roasted eggplants – a couple of my favourite ingredients. It was served on the tables of Alexander the Great and still maintains its popularity. It is the only ajvar on the market made in the original old-fashioned recipe, using fire roasted peppers and eggplants and without adding starches and other impurities.
