From the moment you pour it into the glass, see the deep purple-red colour and breathe in the violet floral aromas, you know it is going to be good. The intense flavours of plum and blackberry don’t disappoint, along with a touch of spicy oak and fine smooth tannins with nicely balanced acidity. A good all-round wine. Ideal served with venison with a berry puree.
