Distinct flavour compliments seafood well

If you are looking for a nice sauvignon blanc to serve with seafood, then I highly recommend this week’s wine: Mt. Difficulty Sauvignon Blanc 2011.

From Central Otago, this wine is ‘distinctly sauvignon’, not tropical, but rather nicely restrained and elegant.

Characters of gooseberry and passion fruit combined with a minerality derived from the gravels of Bannockburn distinguish this wine.
