Volvo Penta dealer moves up
Coastline Marine is the second largest Volvo Penta dealer in the country and is celebrating moving into new premises at 32 Newton Street, Mount Maunganui.
It’s a higher profile site with a large showroom and a fully equipped workshop where the team of trained technicians work on all boats.

“We are the experts with Volvo Penta, our technicians are extensively trained and use the latest technology and tools to diagnose any problems,” says owner Ben Quin.
Coastline Marine’s territory covers the Bay of Plenty as well as the Waikato, including Kawhia and Raglan so for those who can’t make it to the workshop they will happily courier your parts. They are also fully mobile so can go anywhere for servicing, repairs or installations.
Coastline Marine sell a range of Volvo Penta engines from 13 horsepower to 900 horsepower diesel or petrol. “Is it important to remember with every Volvo Penta engine comes a number of features to give you better performance, more enjoyable boating and lower CO2 emissions” says Ben. They are also experienced in repowering and have everything needed to guarantee a successful outcome which includes a comprehensive boat test.
They are also agents for Cummins Onan Generators, Maxwell Winches and Hutchwilco.
The showroom is stocked full of lifejackets and other safety accessories. Ben says in summer they will also be stocking more recreational water sport goodies like skis and biscuits. Shortly they will also be catering for the higher end large products like pumps, toilets and water makers.
“We do our best to work around our customers needs and are happy to either work on your boat in our workshop, at a marina or we can travel to you”.
