Boat Show back in town

One of New Zealand's most popular boat shows is returning to Tauranga after a non-appearance in the city last year due to the recession.
The Tauranga Boat and Leisure Show will be held at Baypark, September 10-12.

Organisers worked closely with Tauranga Volunteer Coastguard to ensure the event was revived.
Three large pavilions will feature at the event this year - the Hunting and Fishing Adventure Pavilion, Bay Fisher Pavilion and Education Pavilion.
There is also a new great outdoors area this year, featuring fun and excitement from some of the region's more active marine and adventure activities.
Tauranga Volunteer Coastguard's local project manager, Barry Elshaw, is delighted the show is making a comeback.
"It's been a long couple of years for a lot of people, but things are on the up and it'll be really great to see the local marine industry on show once again," says Barry.

A tonne of tourists will fall in love with NZ.
It will provide the economic stimulus NZ needs.
NZ's roads will be bruised with shattered beer bottles.
NZ rugby playing numbers will increase.
International media exposure will forever boost tourism.
NZ will not recoup the costs of hosting the event.
It's all a load of hype and it won't make a difference.
