Comvita forges $6m deal

Paengaroa based company Comvita has forged a $6 million deal with US company Derma Sciences.
The deal will give Derma Sciences the exclusive rights of the professional and medical market for medi-honey wound care and skincare products.

Comvita receives a royalty and exclusive rights to the ‘over the counter’ market, including pharmacies and health shops.
The deal also gives Comvita a 10 per cent stake in Derma Sciences and a seat on its board table.
