Social networking websites continue to grow in use, application and size and in doing so are creating opportunities for new players in the market. The genre of website has come a long way since the early days of bebo and myspace, and while Facebook and Twitter appear to be among the larger and leading players, internet giant Google’s newest project, Google Buzz, which taps into this market, should not be written off as some critics are.
